Beard and Moustache Championship It's the 7th championship to date!
The Bearded Man's Day
The Russian Beard and Moustache Championship has been held annually since 2013 by the whole bearded community.
Previously, these competitions were held to mark the celebration of “Bearded Man's Day” in April. This year, the competition will be held as part of our event.
Anyone can take part in the championship provided their beard and/or moustache corresponds to one of our nominations (see more below).
Entry for participants and fans will be free at the beginning of the competition.

Moustache only, of any length, a beard/goatee is not allowed. The roots of the hair forming a moustache must be no farther than 1.5 cm from the upper lip. The use of any styling products or devices is prohibited.
Stylized

Moustache only, a beard/goatee is not allowed. The roots of the hair forming a moustache must be no farther than 1.5 cm from the upper lip. The moustache is styled with the use of styling products, but not devices see note.
Mixed Categories
Chin beard
Natural beard on the chin, shaved cheeks (at least 4 cm from the temples to the beard), a moustache is allowed.
Beard with
stylized
moustache
Natural beard. The moustache is styled with the use of styling tools, but not devices see note.
Fake
An artificial beard or moustache made of any materials.

The use of barrettes, bobby pins, wire, etc. is not allowed. The use of styling products for straightening or curling hair is allowed (hair dryer, hair straightener, hair curler, etc.).
Styling products – hair sprays, mousses, waxes, gels, oils, etc.
Styling elements – hairpins, supporting elements, hair extensions, etc., and it is also not allowed to tint the skin under the beard (e.g., tinting black) to increase the contrast of the beard.
Applying to participate
You do not have to be a barber of any professional kind. It is enough that the beard and moustache (together or separately) are the subject of special care and pride for you.
